Description: Tin Sign Plant.zip.zip

  • Tin sign showing how compression works in nature
  • Over millions of years, plant remains become coal, which in turn becomes diamonds
  • Fastening with screws, nails or double-sided adhesive tape (not included)

In 1989, Phil Katz thought that you could really make money with compression. He was not entirely wrong, because the invention of the ZIP format made him rich. Thanks to it, we can now easily send and store even huge amounts of data.

Nature, however, is once again both more inventive and more successful: sometimes gigantic plants become small pieces of coal, become tiny but incredibly valuable diamonds. This process is shown in the Tin Sign Plant.zip.zip, which will make both biology and technology-loving geeks happy.

It's just a pity that this natural compression programme takes so damn long and is not even compatible with the common operating systems...
