In 1958, the invention of instant ramen ushered in a new era of fast food: Hot water on top, wait, done! Nowadays, ramen enjoys great popularity all over the world, especially in Korea: there is a strong noodle culture there and in 2019, Koreans even had the highest per capita consumption of instant ramen in the world!

So it's high time we broadened our noodle horizons! This is exactly why we created Guksu - Your Korean Noodle Box. The box owes its name to the Korean word for "noodle" - and of course the name says it all!

But what can you expect in the Guksu box?

  • We have selected 16 different types of ramen from Korea for you, covering a wide range of manufacturers and, above all, flavors. From spicy to mild, from beef broth to seafood - there's something for everyone!


  • The 24-page brochure provides you with all the information about your Ramyun varieties and offers you lots of background knowledge about Korean noodles: for example, you will learn how you can enjoy ramen without a bowl or why Vienna sausages and Spam (the breakfast meat, not the emails...) go amazingly well with noodles!


  • The metal chopstick set lets you get started right away and try the delicious varieties. Unlike in other countries, Koreans don't use cheap wooden or plastic chopsticks.



Please note: The 16 different varieties in the box are randomly selected and the exact composition of the box changes from time to time. Most Korean ramen varieties contain ingredients of animal origin, but we always try to include at least one vegetarian variety in the box.
