At this point, we would like to dispel the widespread prejudice that geeks don't like plants. The problem that geeks have with plants is rather that they need constant care, which can sometimes be forgotten when concentrating on programming. This is where the Plantarium comes into play:

The Plantarium consists of a Plexiglas housing filled with a special gel. This gel provides all the nutrients a plant needs - not even watering is necessary. The gel is also transparent, so you can observe the plants from above the soil. A geek's natural urge to explore can therefore be easily satisfied, as you can now observe the growth of the plants' roots.

The Plantarium comes with two different seeds (sunflower and four-leaf clover), which you just have to sprinkle onto the gel. When the plants have grown too big for the housing, you can remove the lid and replace the gel with the soil supplied or transfer the plant to a normal flower pot.

Our version - the Plantarium Super - has an extra-large housing.

Incidentally, when the gel is used up, you don't need to buy a new Plantarium - you can simply refill it with the refill gel instead. The refill set offers everything you need to refill your plantarium once.
