Inspired by a well-known pump shotgun used by the Terminator, among others

There is one thing that no action movie, zombie shooter or gangster series should be without: the good old pump-action shotgun. Or, to use the correct German term, the muzzle-loading shotgun. Thanks to Rambo, the Terminator and the like, we're probably all familiar with the click-clack when reloading.

However, as weapons outside of the media are anything but great, we'd rather go for the "rubber band shotgun" wooden kit: this kit lets you assemble a mini shotgun that fires harmless rubber bands up to eight meters and even has a spring-loaded slide! In addition to the shotgun, five wooden targets are also included.

No tools or glue are required for assembly, but a spring knife and a file may make it easier. Please note: The delicate wooden parts can be damaged if too much force is used when putting them together.

Hallo zusammen,

Verpackung und Zusammenbau:
Das zusammenbauen hat viel Spaß gemacht. Alle Teile sind nummeriert und zum Teil mehrfach vorhanden, falls man mal ausversehen eines abbricht. Ich habe mir Zeit gelassen und ca. 1,5 Stunden gebraucht.
Bei ein paar Kleinteilen muss man aufpassen, aber wenn man aufpasst ist das kein Problem.
Die 3 mechanischen Teile sind sowohl als Holzversion, als auch als Plastik vorhanden, so dass man die Wahl hat zwischen all-wood oder höherer Haltbarkeit.

Umfang:
Wir schon erwähnt, sind einige wichtige oder fragile Teile mehrfach vorhanden. Außerdem befindet sich noch ein kleines Wachsstäbchen zum einreiben von Teilen, die bei Benutzung einer Reibung ausgesetzt sind. Das wird aber ebenfalls in der Anleitung erwähnt. Zusätzlich sind 5 Holzsoldaten Schnitte als Ziele dabei.

Fazit: Alles in allem erhält man hier ein hochwertiges Produkt zum Basteln und ausstellen. Die Schussmechanik funktioniert tadellos und jeder Schuss muss wie eine echte Schrotflinte nachgeladen werden (bis zu 5 Schuss).
Optisch macht das Teil auch etwas her und die vielen Details und der Kontrast zwischen den hellen Holzflächen und den dunklen Seiten macht ordentlich was her. Ich werde mir die Schrotflinte definitiv in meiner Vitrine ausstellen.
