Description: Eco-Wood-Art Construction Kit Planetarium

  • DIY craft kit for a mechanical wooden planetarium
  • Laser-cut parts can be built into a model of our solar system
  • Turning a small crank causes the planets to rotate around the sun
  • Texts on the parts and rings of the main structure offer information on the celestial bodies

Anyone who has ever been to a planetarium show knows the amazing feeling of travelling through the endless space of the universe and seeing planets, asteroids and other celestial bodies from an entirely new perspective. Sadly, planetariums take up a lot of space, and we’re pretty sure that no one actually wants to know the price of one of those giant projectors. But, fortunately for us, there are other ways to shrink down parts of the universe into more family- and budget-friendly sizes :).

The Eco Wood Art Construction Kit "Planetarium", for example. With this set, you can transform 234 laser-cut wooden pieces into your very own planetarium! You won’t need any special tools, only some patience and the included instructions, which feature many pictures for easy assembly.

The result is a mechanical model of our solar system that can be set into motion by turning a crank, which will send the planets orbiting around the sun in the centre of the model. Short texts on some of the parts offer additional information on the planets – perfect for introducing the next generation of worlds into the wonderful world of astronomy!
